This is the kind of dress you can feel comfortable in all night long! And it has pockets!! I wanted a dress that wouldn't require any uncomfortable shapeware, and this really fit the bill. Enough coverage in the chest and back without feeling too stuffy. The top provides visual interest and texture without being overwhelming. Buttons run down the back of the dress for a classic touch.
Some notes about me in the photos: I'm usually between as street size 4 or 6 on the bottom, but street size 0 or 2 in tops (34B/36A bra size depending on brand) so it's the best of both worlds! Fitted bodice and flowy bottom. I'm about 5ft 2in without heels and wore 2 inch heels. I actually think I could have shorted the dress more for myself, but maybe you are taller than me!
Tailor added a 'french bustle'- you can pull it up at three different points. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of the back of the dress after bustling.
Dress was worn for ceremony, part of reception and has been professionally dry cleaned.
